Kilian is a 28-year-old aerial circus teacher and professional artist. He has been practicing circus arts for nine years, specializing in aerial hoop. He began teaching after just one year and later refined his skills at the Circus School of Turin in Italy. Today, Kilian performs on the aerial hoop as both a circus artist and drag queen, incorporating chair dance, visual poi, floorwork, and aerial acts on the hoop and trapeze into his repertoire.
For the past three years, he has managed L’Envolée Studio, an aerial circus school in Strasbourg, France, teaching over 100 students. With eight years of teaching experience, Kilian emphasizes both technical precision and artistic expression. His classes combine warm-ups, strength-building, technical skills, and choreographed combos, helping students develop a solid foundation while exploring their creative potential.
Several of Kilian’s students have gone on to professional careers, reflecting his comprehensive teaching style. His drag background adds a dramatic and glamorous flair, inspiring students to embrace confidence, artistry, and a touch of queenly attitude in their performances.

This workshop provides an introduction to the discipline of dance trapeze. It begins with warm-up and strength-building exercises to establish the physical foundation necessary for aerial work. Participants will learn basic trapeze techniques and beginner combinations with a focus on safety and confident execution. The class concludes with an artistic exploration of these combinations, allowing participants to discover their creative potential on the trapeze.
Prerequisites: Participants should be able to invert with the assistance of the floor if needed, climb onto the apparatus, and have a basic understanding of fundamental movements. Ideally, attendees will have a few months of prior practice.
Dance Trapeze – Intermediate: Saturday, 22.03.2025 16:30-18:30
This workshop is tailored for individuals with prior experience in trapeze who wish to refine their skills and explore creative transitions. The session focuses on fluid rolls, seamless transitions around the ropes, and the creation of elegant, connected combinations. A warm-up, strength exercises, and an emphasis on artistic flow are integral parts of the class.
Prerequisites: Participants should be able to invert independently, feel comfortable with spinning, and have at least one year of regular trapeze practice (weekly sessions) or a substantial background in sports.
Aerial Hoop – Beginner: Sunday, 23.03.2025 14:00-15:30
This workshop is ideal for individuals new to the aerial hoop or those wishing to strengthen their foundational skills. The session begins with a warm-up and strength-building exercises to prepare the body, followed by the introduction of basic technical movements and beginner-friendly combinations. The class concludes with an emphasis on adding artistic expression to these combinations, encouraging participants to explore the creative aspects of aerial hoop.
